Social Media Money System by Ryan Deiss

By J Davis, July 16, 2009 3:34 am

Not Long Ago I purchased a Internet course by Ryan Deiss named “Continuity Blueprint” It was marketed in a typical huge launch like all the internet marketers do these days and I have to say it was done very well. I enjoyed how Ryan Deiss presented his material on building a membership site and how he made it easy for this country boy to understand.

I purchased Ryan Deiss’s course and I consumed it in just a few days. I started working on my online business and put in place the techniques that Ryan Diess taught in his course. I had my doubts but I quickly realized that I was on to something huge.

I stayed with it and after eight months with my new online project I built a continuity program with 300 paying customers. Each paying between ten and thirty bucks a month.

I must tell you that Ryan Diess is an absolute genius and his concepts and strategies work like gangbusters. I really thought that having an online business was for really smart people but I know now that with the techniques that Ryan Diess taught me I will be making money online for a very long time.

“The Social Media Money System” is a new course that Ryan Diess has partnered to produce with Perry Belcher and I am aixously awaiting my copy because I have not been able to get a hold of the social media aspect of the internet and how these guys build such a large social media following.

When I get the Social Media Money System I am going to consume it just like I did with Ryan’s continuatiy blueprint because I know that everything that Ryan is involved it is absolutely top notch.

Review Of Unique Article Wizard: Article Marketing Submissions

By Rachel Kuptz, July 8, 2009 3:43 am

What Is Unique Article Wizard? Unique Article Wizard is an article submission tool that allows you to submit articles to a variety of blogs, directories, and submission sites. Unique Article Wizard has a number of blogs that belong to it’s directory, so finding relevant sites that will list your article is usually no problem.

How Unique Article Wizard Works: Typically, a person may write an article, submit it to an article directory, and then link back to their web site or blog with relevant information. If you’re submitting to a niche site with quite a bit of traffic, this method is great for getting quality traffic. If you’re looking for backlinks for SEO purposes, however, you’re stuck with one or two backlinks. Through Unique Article Wizard, though, you’ll be submitting an article to a variety of web sites by picking categories and topics that your article is relevant to. I’m a monthly subscriber to Unique Article Wizard and have used it to pick up a number of backlinks to my site, as well as to rank on the first page of Google *quickly* for a number of terms. There is a non-disclosure agreement that doesn’t allow me tell you exactly how the articles are submitted, but it’s completely white-hat.

Rank For Specific Keywords Using Unique Article Wizard: Once you write an article, you’ll be able to write an Author Resource or “BIO” box at the end of the article. In that resource box, you will also be able to include html. For my web site, the resource box may look something like this: Business Name provides a variety of KEYWORD 1 and KEYWORD 2 resources. Where keyword 1 and keyword 2 are, those would be html links and you wouldn’t see any html code. By distributing your article to upwards of thousands of blogs and article web sites, Unique Article Wizard is placing keyword anchor text for you, something that could take hours if you were to do it by yourself. You have the potential of placing hundreds to thousands of targeted anchor text on high PageRank and trafficked sites from just one article, increasing your chances of ranking for the keywords you are targeting.

How Long Will It Take To Rank For The Keywords I Am Targeting? Unfortunately, that is not a question that can be easily answered. If you’re trying to rank for a highly competitive keyword, it may take quite a bit more effort than article marketing to rank for the keyword. I have ranked for competitive terms by solely using Unique Article Wizard, though. My sites already have links pointing to them, but my technique consisted of pushing out 1-2 articles per DAY. If each article is posted to 800-1,600 sites (per the categories I was targeting), that’s a potential of 8,000 links a week, on the low end! I make sure to switch up my keyword anchor text, however, using a variety of phrases and pages so that all the links count, instead of being counted as duplicates.

How Can I Check That My Site Is Benefiting From Using Unique Article Wizard? A few days after I get the notice from Unique Article Wizard that my article has been submitted, I take two steps: 1. Run a Rank Check Report: Using Aaron Wall’s free SEO Book plugin, I type in the keywords that I was targeting in the article and see where I currently rank. Over a week period, if I’m aggressively distributing unique, informative articles, the ranking will steadily increase. 2. Check In With Yahoo Site Explorer: After a week or so, backlinks from your article marketing should begin showing up. I use Yahoo’s free tool to find out how many links my site now has, and I use tools like SEOPro (free) to find out the PageRank of those sites, the anchor text that is pointing to my site, and whether that anchor text link is nofollow or not. Yahoo Site Explorer is a quick way to confirm that, yes, my article marketing is getting me backlinks, while SEOPro is a more time intensive way to confirm that, yes, those links are providing value.

Is Unique Article Wizard Worth The Cost? That’s also a hard question to answer without knowing your situation. For me, the answer is YES. Actually, it’s MOST DEFINITELY YES. Unique Article Wizard will cost you $67 a month via PayPal. If that’s not in your budget right now, then obviously it’s not worth it to you. If you’re on the fence about ordering it, the nice thing is that Unique Article Wizard IS a monthly subscription, and you can cancel at any time. For me, Unique Article Wizard provides benefit in that I am at no loss for new article topics, and Unique Article Wizard makes it easy for me to distribute those articles to relevant sites AND get quality backlinks back. I submit anywhere from 1-10 articles a DAY via Unique Article Wizard, albeit for a variety of sites and client web sites. If you are only going to use Unique Article Wizard once a month, the cost may not be justified. You can easily submit a few articles to free directories, but you may not get as many backlinks. The other thing about Unique Article Wizard, the thing I want to make ABSOLUTELY clear, is it’s not an end all be all for link building. For a link building strategy to be successful, you need to partake in a variety of methods: press release distribution, directory submission, blog commenting, forum commenting, image alt text, link bait, AND article marketing. Article Marketing may quickly get you to the top spot for a long tail keyword, but for competitive keywords and niches, it’s only going to nudge you a few pages. What article marketing and Unique Article Wizard CAN do, though, is push you to the top if you’re ALMOST there – maybe a few links behind your competitor. Your competitor will have to work harder trying to find new links, not knowing that a few articles was all it took to get you thousands of links and to the top of the page.

I’m Not A Writer – Is Unique Article Wizard Right For Me? This is the spot where I tell you to outsource. I, in fact, outsource the writing portion of my article marketing tactics for a few of my affiliate sites that would take me hours of research for one 500 word article. For subjects I’m passionate or knowledgeable about, I can knock out a few articles a day, but there are a variety of places to find credible writers at. There are quite a few article marketing services that claim they provide quality articles at $3 per article, but I’ve found that you do often get what you pay for.

Getting Started With Social Media

By Steven Schlagel, July 7, 2009 5:30 am

Are you a business owner or entrepreneur who hasn’t started using social media yet? Networking on various social sites will allow you to improve your Web site traffic and build your online presence. Whether you are a small business owner or communications director for a large corporation, adding social networking to your marketing strategy is imperative.

Interacting online in social network sites allows you to do three things. You get to build stronger relationships with your business partners and colleagues, you have access to online experts and you get more one-on-one time with your customers, to learn their likes and dislikes and to engage them in your business.

Building stronger relationships with colleagues and business partners gives you the opportunity to add people from their network and to pick their brains for expert information or opinions on vendors. Getting to interact directly with your customers or potential clients allows you to gain a stronger understanding of their needs and how they would like to see your business or service offerings develop.

There are an ever-increasing number of social sites available to you and it would be impossible (and unnecessary) for you to be active on all of them. To start off with it is only necessary to be active on three: LinkedIn (professional), Facebook (social) and Twitter (immediate). If you still feel overwhelmed, just get involved on LinkedIn and Twitter for now. You can add Facebook later.

When you sign up for these, sites use your real name (or as close as possible). You want people to be able to find you. You may also want to sign up under the company name which you can do on LinkedIn and Twitter. Get a great head shot and use a small version of this as your thumbnail sized avatar. The sites will offer to look for contacts from your email address book. This is a great feature and you should do it. Deselect if you don’t actually want to follow someone.

Writing a strong biography for your site is very important. This gives people just enough information to decide if they want to connect with or follow you. When you develop a biography, let people know what you do and also add your URL to your Website or blog so people can get additional details about your business. On Twitter you can design a background. Use a free design site to do this yourself or hire a graphic designer for this small job. It makes a difference in the professionalism of your site.

Now you have to start interacting! Twitter offers a “search” box now and you can type in keywords like “entrepreneur” to find discussions, and thus people, to follow and contribute to. There is also a great site called WeFollow.com that allows you to do a search by terms that people have identified themselves with (“artist”, “small business”, etc.). On LinkedIn and Facebook, you can join groups and on Facebook there are fan pages for lots of famous people, from musicians to business people. Offer your opinions and resources. Get involved!

Although the bottom line for many using social media is to increase sales, don’t push your product or your services too hard. People don’t like this. It is a real turn-off and they might not just stop following you, they might encourage others to do the same. Offer real opinions and real interactions to slowly build a following and loyalty.

Sometimes you will get the opportunity to meet some of your contacts in persons. Facebook and LinkedIn list events in your area and Twitter has what are called “tweetups” which are live gatherings of Twitter members, generally around a topic or interest. Interacting in person builds a stronger connection than just online.

Social networking is more time-consuming in the beginning as you get set up but you should not be intimidated by it. A few minutes each day once you get started should be plenty to build your online presence and expand your reach to new customers and new experts. Go get started!

Social Marketing Tips and Online Marketing

By chitchatblogging, June 30, 2009 3:38 pm

How to recognize a good online marketing consultant or social marketing manager? Hundreds of companies offer online advertising and social networking services, promising potential clients a great traffic, good page ranking, a superior return on investment or, in other words, money. Unfortunately, the Internet is also the place where most financial scams are conducted, due to the proliferation of pseudo-companies that trick clients into paying for their services in advance and then interrupt all contact. Consider the following suggestions when in search for an online marketing consultant or and social networking manager. Let us begin by mentioning where you can find a well-reputed service.

There are several criteria you should look for in any online marketing consultant that advertises online, in brochures, financial publications and magazines. All companies that promote their image like this will first tell you who they are and what experience level they bring. Then, they will present you the kind of services they provide, described either in detailed packages or in general lines. You’ll notice that the language in which an online marketing consultant promotes his/her services is very convincing, emphasizing the great benefits that will be brought to your business. The stress will thus fall on what they can do to help you, with the mention that you seem to make the main beneficiary, while they are honored to have you as a client.

Don’t be fulled by all the promises and goal setting that sound pompous, daring and highly modern. If you know how to read between the lines, the message will become clear about what the online marketing consultant can offer. Referrals, certifications and expertise are most of the time more important and relevant for the credibility of such a business than all the advertising blah blah. Therefore, make sure to check the previous work examples you’ll be provided with. The choice of the online marketing consultant should be made on this kind of information and not on the basis of ads.

Last but not least, ask for quotes, discuss social networking strategies and learn all you can about the methods the online marketing consultant would use for the promotion of your business. You should be aware of the fact that there is the risk of the so-called black-hat practices that consist of very aggressive promotional or advertising methods that are not accepted by search engines. If you don’t look into such matters carefully, there is a chance for your web page to be banned from search engines without the possibility of rehabilitation. Therefore, the responsibility for what the online marketing consultant does on your behalf is not shared. Most of all don’t sign a long contract and pay a big amount upfront. Stay away from just talking to the salespeople. Make sure you have direct access to whomever it is that is doing the online advertising or social networking for you. In a short time you should be able to tell who you can trust and who you work best with.
